Le Croe is a luxurious 45m2 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment sleeping up to 4 people. It is situated on the ground floor of Chalet l’Ormelune, a lovely chalet in traditional style overlooking the valley in the old heart of Peisey Nancroix. This is itself a traditional and pretty savoyade village built around an ancient hamlet grouped around the chapel. It is a quiet location without loud nightlife, but there is a boulangerie and small supermarket as well as a couple of bars all close to the apartment.
It has been renovated to a very high level of finish with a decision made to limit occupancy to four to maximise space and luxury. One double bedroom with a further second bedroom off the main bedroom with bunkbeds, making a great layout for families. The fabulous lounge/dining room is perfect for relaxing with a cozy wood stove and comfortable and stylish furniture. Free wifi provided. The well equipped kitchen area opens off the lounge . Private covered parking is just outside the front door. There is a skibus stop opposite the building or it is a short walk to the bucket lift linking to Plan Peisey. From here skiing and boarding access to the whole of Les Arcs is excellent with a fast 6-seater chairlift that runs from the middle of Plan Peisey as well as the Vanoise Express linking les Arcs with la Plagne - the two areas making up the enormous Paradiski domain.
The spacious living area incorporates a scandinavian wood stove, comfortable large sofa and excellent storage with mountain decor. There is a dining area with seating for four so everyone can enjoy eating together and sharing details of the day's activities.
The lounge opens into a fully equipped kitchen space, with combination microwave, fullsize electric oven and 4 ring hob,dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A good quality filter coffee-maker, kettle and toaster, raclette and fondue are also provided.
The kitchen area has attractive alpine storage and an excellent selection of dishes, glasses and cooking utensils. There are enough to prepare whatever you want, be it a gourmet meal or bread and local cheeses with wine for lunch.
The large bedroom is stylish with a lovely cozy atmosphere and is fitted with a comfortable double bed as well as plenty of good storage with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. The second bedroom is a large and light coin montagne opening off the main bedroom and is separated by curtains and has bunk beds, with full sized 90cm beds. In addition there is chest of drawers and storage. It makes a great layout for families.
The large stylish bathroom has a shower with glass enclosure, plenty of storage under the designer basin for guest toiletries plus a toilet. The bathroom also comes with the added luxury of it's own full size automatic washing machine.
Private covered parking for one vehicle comes free with the apartment (max height 2.2m) and there is also free open public parking just opposite. On this level there is also a ski bootroom area with storage, bootdryer and sufficient room for golf clubs or a cycle in summer.
The total charge includes the apartment rental for the period required and one final cleaning charge. The rates below are for the apartment rental, per week, and include utilities, heating, wifi and use of the private parking but not the final cleaning charge.
The cleaning charge, which is an additional 70 euros per booking including tax, is shown separately so that it is not included more than once if you stay longer than one week.
Linen packs with good quality bedlinens and towels are available for hire:-
- Double pack containing bedlinen for a double bed plus two large and two small towels: 30 euros
- Single pack containing bedlinen for a single bed together with one large and one small towel: 18 euros.
Taxe de sejour, which is payable by all guests over 18, is 0.75 euros per person per night.
