Belle Plagne and La Plagne
This is a car free village with restaurants and shops, ski schools and kindergarten in an attractive pedestrianised centre. The ski lifts start from here as well as the ski school meeting points, so everything you need is within a few steps.
Belle Plagne is one of the most attractive of the villages making up La Plagne with wide soft pistes and reliable snow. La Plagne itself has 225km of varied pistes, from glacier skiing to "Coolski" - the beginners slopes. As soon as you can ski on blue runs, the majority of the domain is open to you right from the summet of La Grande Rochette down into the Belle Plagne itself.
It is joined into the vast domain of Paradiski with 425 km of pistes, 80% above 2000m by the Vanoise Express.
The village has its own nursery for little ones and a magic carpet within the village.
